I am currently based in the UK so all tutoring is done online via Google Meet. To help me better understand your child’s needs and to discuss how I may be able to help, please contact me

General tutoring

I offer one to one tutoring for all courses ranging from 3rd grade math up to Advanced Placement Calculus as well as SAT prep. During my career I have taught 3rd and 4th grade in lower school, 7th and 8th grade in middle school, and 9th through 12th grade in high school. Working across all three divisions of K-12 schools has given me a rare insight not only into how and when certain mathematical concepts are introduced but how a student’s understanding of those concepts evolve and mature over time. Knowing how I want students to think mathematically at the end of high school guides me in how I introduce and sequence concepts earlier in their education. This deliberate approach makes for a richer mathematical experience because it highlights the underlying mathematical structures within and between concepts. Ultimately, students develop a deeper appreciation for the beautiful and connected nature of math.

Summer program

Participation in summer math programs can have a significant impact on the learning and confidence of students moving into the new academic year. I have limited availability for intensive summer tutoring sessions. Together we will customise a schedule and curriculum that works for your child so they return to school feeling more prepared and confident.

Special education services

These students have been some of the hardest hit by the situation we find ourselves in. Their personal differences in visual and auditory processing, receptive and expressive language skills, as well as their ability to maintain focus, simply cannot be catered to in an online class setting. They often require one-to-one teaching so that their specific learning needs can first be identified and subsequently addressed through ways that are appropriate for them as individuals. Hence, I offer custom tutoring to meet their particular needs. I have taught students with a wide range of diagnoses, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Twice exceptional
  • Dyscalculia
  • Dyslexia
  • ADD
  • ADHD
  • Non verbal learning disabilities
  • Executive functioning difficulties
